Betical Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Betical ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information when you use our mobile application. Betical is designed for users 13 years of age and older.

Age Requirements

Betical is intended for users who are 13 years of age or older. By using Betical, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Information We Collect

No Account or Registration

We do not require you to create an account or provide personal information such as your name or email address to use Betical.

Local Data Storage

All game progress, settings, and achievements are stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any servers. When you uninstall Betical, all locally stored data is permanently deleted.

Advertising and Tracking

Betical uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. The data collected and how ads are personalized depends on your location and choices:

For iOS Users (Worldwide)

On iOS 14.5 and later, we request permission via App Tracking Transparency (ATT) to access the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) for personalized ads. If you allow tracking, you may see personalized ads. If you deny or the system blocks tracking, you will see non-personalized ads only. You can change this anytime in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. We also use Apple's SKAdNetwork for privacy-preserving ad measurement that does not track individual users.

For Android Users

Android users may see personalized ads by default. You can control ad personalization in your device's Google settings.

Data We Collect for Ads

• Device identifiers (IDFA if permitted on iOS)
• IP address (anonymized)
• General location (country/region)
• Ad interaction data
• Device type and OS version

Third-Party Links and Credits

Betical may include links to external websites for music or sound effect attributions. Please refer to those websites for their privacy practices.

Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Betical is designed for users 13 years and older. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information immediately.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has used Betical or that we have inadvertently collected information from your child, please contact us immediately at daugaard47@gmail.com and we will take appropriate action.

Regional Privacy Requirements

European Users (EEA/UK - GDPR Compliance)

We request consent via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before showing personalized ads. Without consent, only non-personalized ads are shown. You can change consent via the app's Ad Preferences or by contacting us. If you are located in the EEA or UK, you have these rights under GDPR:

• Right to Access: Request information about any data we process about you.
• Right to Deletion: Delete all local data by uninstalling the app.
• Right to Object: Opt-out of personalized ads through consent dialog or device settings.
• Right to Data Portability: Your game data is stored locally on your device.
• Right to Rectification: Correct any inaccurate personal data.
• Right to Restriction: Limit processing of your personal data.

We process data under GDPR Article 6(1)(a) - consent. The minimum age for data processing consent varies by EU country (typically 13-16 years). Users under the age of consent in their country must have parental permission to use Betical.

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

Your Privacy Choices

You have several options to control your privacy:

• iOS: Change tracking permission in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking
• Android: Adjust ad personalization in your Google settings
• In-app: Use Ad Preferences to change consent (EEA/UK users)
• Disable notifications in app settings
• Reset your Advertising ID in device settings
• Uninstall the app to delete all local data

Data Retention

Game data stored locally on your device is retained until you uninstall Betical. We do not have access to this data and cannot retrieve it if deleted. Google AdMob may retain advertising data according to their privacy policy.
