Betical Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Betical mobile application ("Betical", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using Betical, you agree to comply with these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Betical. If you are under 18, you should have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

No Accounts or Registration

Betical does not require you to register or create an account. No login or personal information is needed to use the app.

No Purchases or Premium Versions

Betical is free to use. There are no in-app purchases or premium ad-free versions available.

Advertising

Betical displays age-appropriate advertisements through Google AdMob, a Google Play certified ad network. All advertisements are automatically filtered to be suitable for users aged 13 and older. Ad content is controlled by Google's policies and we do not have direct control over specific ads shown. Personalized advertising on iOS may require your permission through App Tracking Transparency; see our Privacy Policy for details. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads.

Content Appropriateness

All game content in Betical is appropriate for users 13 years and older. The word puzzles contain common English vocabulary suitable for teenage and adult audiences. We do not include profanity, violence, or adult themes in our game content.

User Conduct

You agree to use Betical only for lawful purposes. Do not interfere with the app, its code, or other users' experience. Do not use Betical in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, graphics, and logos within Betical are the property of Chris Daugaard, sole developer and owner, unless otherwise credited. Music and sound effects are credited in-app under the Credits section.

Third-Party Links

Betical may contain links to third-party websites (such as music credits). We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of these external sites. Access them at your own risk.

Disclaimer of Warranties

BETICAL IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee that Betical will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF BETICAL.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Chris Daugaard and any affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of Betical or violation of these Terms.

Privacy

For information about how we collect, use, or disclose data, please review our Privacy Policy .

Termination

You may stop using Betical at any time. We reserve the right to remove Betical from app stores or discontinue support at our discretion. If this occurs, the app may become unavailable for new downloads or updates, but existing users may continue to use Betical on their devices.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
